Visceral Manipulation: A gentle manual therapy that assesses the structural relationship between the viscera (organs), and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to the various systems in the body. It assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, eliminatory, neuroendocrine and lymphatic dysfunction.
Sports Massage: Geared towards athletes and active individuals, it focuses on preventing and treating sports-related injuries, as well as improving performance and mobility.
Swedish Massage: A gentle, relaxing massage that uses long strokes, kneading, and circular movements to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension.
Dynamic cupping: A massage modality that involves the use of silicone or plastic cups placed on the skin to create suction. Unlike traditional stationary cupping, dynamic cupping incorporates movement, where the cups are glided or moved across the skin while maintaining suction. This technique helps to mobilize soft tissue and stimulate blood flow, promoting relaxation and reducing muscle tension.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM): A technique that involves using specialized tools to massage and manipulate soft tissue, such as muscles, ligaments, and tendons. The tools are typically made of metal or hard plastic and have various shapes and edges to target specific areas of the body. This technique can help improve range of motion, reduce pain, increase blood flow, and enhance tissue healing.
Deep Tissue Massage: A technique that targets deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using slow, firm pressure to alleviate chronic muscle pain and tension. *I work deeply but only when the body allows me. I find more lasting results are made by meeting the body where it’s at and never forcing into more pain. If you are looking for a therapist that digs their elbows in, I’m not going to be a good fit, and that’s OK.

Mindful Movement is my unique approach to movement that focuses on restoring functional movement patterns, improving posture, and reducing pain and tension in the body.
I prioritize the neural and visceral systems with my lens of view. I blend functional neurology and osteopathic principles to enhance ANS safety, body awareness, proprioception, movement efficiency and posture.
I combine principles from my diverse background in physical therapy, massage therapy, and strength and conditioning to create a personalized movement practice tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Initial Consultation:
During your first session we will spend a majority of the time reviewing your health history, primary complaint and goals. It is important that we figure out a specific and measure goal to track progress. I will also look at your posture and gait. As time allows I try to provide you with some homework in the form of 1-3 exercises.
Virtual:
You will be provided with a Zoom link prior to your session.
Please wear comfortable attire for exercise. It is preferred that you use a computer or laptop for the call vs a cell phone. Please try to set up in a quiet space where you have room to move. I also recommend having water, a light snack and towel (if needed) close by.
In-person:
Please wear comfortable attire for exercise. Please bring water, a light snack, and towel (if needed).
